A life calendar for iPhone
Most weeks pass without notice.
Memento Mori shows your whole life as a grid of weeks, with this one marked in gold. Write a line about each week, keep the people who matter in view, and make promises with a date on them.

The app
What’s in it
The grid
Every week of your life on one screen. Lived weeks in parchment, this week in gold, the rest still open. Milestones show up in their own colours.
A line for every week
Write about the week you’re in, give it a mood, and read back through any year in the Journal tab. Search across every entry with Pro.
The tail end
Add the people who matter and how often you see them. Memento Mori estimates the visits, Christmases and hours you may have left together, and reminds you when it has been too long.
The Codex
Make a vow with a date on it, in one of six areas of life. It waits on your grid as a ring until you honor it or release it. Write a letter to your future self and it arrives on that day.
Milestones
Mark the weeks that already mattered: a move, a wedding, a first child. They appear as coloured squares on your grid.
Time accounting
Eight sliders for an ordinary week, from sleep and work to phone, family and reading. See what they add up to over the years ahead, and share the result as a card.
Lifestyle estimate
Eight questions about sleep, exercise, diet, drinking, smoking, stress, relationships and weight. See how your habits move the estimate, and use the result only if you want to.
Daily quote
One line a day from Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus and others, with a morning notification if you like. Thirty rotate for free, all 437 come with Pro.
Annual reckoning
Around your birthday, look back at the year that just closed: how many weeks you wrote about, what you marked, which mood came up most.

Help
How do I get Pro back on a new iPhone?
If Pro isn’t active after you install the app, tap the gear at the top of the Grid screen, then Restore under the Memento Mori Pro card. The Pro sheet also has Restore previous purchase. Pro belongs to your Apple ID, so sign in with the one you bought it with.
With iCloud sync on, your weeks, journal and people come back by themselves the first time the app opens.
How do I cancel Pro?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Memento Mori. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date and you won’t be charged again. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it. A lifetime purchase never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
How do I delete everything, including iCloud?
In Memento Mori, open Settings and tap Reset all data under Data safety. That erases your profile, journal, milestones, people, vows, time accounting and quiz result on this iPhone. Your settings and Pro stay. Export first if you want a copy.
From 1.0.2 on, with iCloud sync on, reset also clears that data in iCloud, and your other devices with 1.0.2 or later clear it on their next sync.
In 1.0.1, delete the iCloud copy first: open the iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, Manage Account Storage, Memento Mori, and delete the data there. Then reset Memento Mori on each device that has it, or entries still kept on one can sync back. Turning sync off in the app doesn’t delete the iCloud copy.
Why did my number of weeks change after I edited my birth date?
Every count starts from your birth date. Weeks lived are the whole weeks since that day, and the total is your life expectancy times 52, so moving the date changes how many weeks are lived and how many remain. Changing your life expectancy in Settings, or using your lifestyle estimate, changes the total. From 1.0.2 on, this week counts as the first of the weeks that remain, so lived and remaining always add up to the total.
From 1.0.2 on, journal entries stay on the week you wrote them for. In 1.0.1, they stay with their week number, so their dates move by as much as the birth date did.
How do I report a bug?
Email me with your iOS version, the Memento Mori version (at the bottom of Settings) and what you did right before it happened. A screenshot helps a lot.
