Terms of use

Using Charado

By downloading or using Charado you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Charado is for personal use. Please don’t reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it.

Charado Plus

Plus is optional. It comes as a weekly or a yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, and opens every deck. The price is shown in the app before you buy.

Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in Charado’ settings or in your iPhone’s Settings under your name and Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews.

Refunds

Apple processes all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Playing safely

Charades gets lively. Leave room to move, mind what’s around you when you act things out, and don’t play while driving or walking in traffic.

No warranty

Charado is provided as it is. I work to keep it correct and running, but can’t promise it will always be free of errors.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health.

Changes

I may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
