Fertigo

Privacy policy

Last updated November 1, 2026

Fertigo keeps nothing about you on any server, because it has none. Here is what the app stores on your device, and when anything leaves it.

In short

Fertigo collects nothing. It has no account, no server, no analytics and no ads, and I never receive your invoices, your customers or anything else from the app.

What the app stores

On your iPhone or iPad only, in the app’s own folder: your business details, customers, items, documents with their PDF and XML files, payments, expenses with their receipt photos, time entries and settings. The folder is included in your device’s backups if those are on, and you can see it in the Files app.

Your customers’ data

You enter your customers’ names and addresses and decide what happens to them, so for that data you are the one responsible. Fertigo keeps it on your device. It only leaves when you send a document yourself, through the Mail sheet or the share sheet, which hand it to the app you chose, or when you tap Map on a customer, which opens that address in Apple Maps.

iCloud Drive

Only if you switch on sync in Settings: Fertigo then keeps a copy of your data in your own iCloud Drive, so your own devices stay in step. Apple stores it under your Apple account, on the terms you agreed with Apple. I have no access to it.

Camera

Only when you tap to scan a receipt or a barcode. The pictures stay on your device, and any text in them is read on your device.

Contacts

Only when you tap to take over a contact. The system’s picker gives Fertigo the one contact you choose and nothing else.

Face ID

Only if you switch on the lock in Settings. iOS does the check and tells Fertigo the result. Fertigo never sees your face data.

Notifications

Reminders about due invoices and the end of a free trial, only if you allow them. They’re scheduled on your device. There is no push server.

Purchases

Apple handles payment for Fertigo Pro. Fertigo checks whether Pro is active with Apple’s StoreKit on your device. No other company is involved, and I don’t receive your name, payment details or anything that identifies you, only Apple’s anonymous sales figures.

No tracking

Fertigo has no analytics, no ads and no tracking SDKs, and doesn’t use the advertising identifier. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may show me anonymous crash and usage figures.

If you write to me

If you email me, I use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they’re no longer needed. The mailbox is hosted by Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Legal basis

Fertigo processes data only on your device, to provide the app you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct and delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, and complain to a data protection authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. Since everything stays on your device, you can do most of it in the app. Deleting the app deletes its data, apart from any backups and iCloud Drive copy you made.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other servers. Its fonts are served from here.
