Terms of use

Using FuelPilot
By downloading or using FuelPilot you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. FuelPilot is for personal use. Please don’t reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it.
FuelPilot Pro
Pro is optional. It unlocks the fuel log, more than one car and more than five saved trips. You can buy it as a monthly or a yearly subscription, or once as a lifetime purchase. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel in your iPhone’s Settings under your name and Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you subscribe. The lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews.
Refunds
Apple processes all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Estimates, not quotes
Trip costs in FuelPilot are estimates from the distance, fuel economy and price you enter. What you really use and pay depends on your route, traffic, speed, weather, load and the price at the pump that day, so it can be higher or lower. Please don’t use the app while you drive.
No warranty
FuelPilot is provided as it is. I work to keep it correct and running, but can’t promise it will always be free of errors.
Liability
As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
Changes
I may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
